Did you flute the original Barrel or is this a new Barrel ?

I finally have my Surgeon CSR setup the way I want it, all that's left is to acquire a silencer for the rifle. The scope is a prototype NightForce Mil-Spec 4-16x with a Beast elevation knob (this is the only version of this scope known to exist). The thermal is a very rare Voodoo MX with built-in laser range finder. I also just swapped out the RACS 2-piece top rail for an extremely rare Geissele 1-piece top rail.

That is still the original T3 SS Varmint barrel that i still have, as only factory barrel left.
Did a 18X1 thread for the brake and suppressor, and it will hold the zero, no matter how much i shoot.
5/8X24 is not as good, 18X1 had +30% more surface on the barrel muzzle vs 5/8X24.
And it will come to a problem when shooting a lot with suppressor, the muzzle of the barrel will be hot, and open up
justa little bit, when shooting a lot, and the POI is not there where your scope show.
I have done 2/3 of my rifles to 18X1.
Never do 5/8X24 again, if the barrel is thick enought for 18X1.

exactly what I wanted to see, you just machined the shoulder into the barrel. I have that same can sitting in the safe doing nothing right now, you just cost me a lot of money!

I love it. 2 lug with 75 degree throw is awesome! I also run the gray ops aw mags and they are the best ever IMO
Finally got my rifle built and painted a few panels. I'm debating leaving it as it is, or doing a fde and tan stripe type paint job.
