precision rifles... show em

Knawx those are Burris Zee rings, they're not the cause of any accuracy issues unless they're just not torqued properly. If you decide to change them out anyway PM me with tube diameter and ring height, I might take them off your hands ;-)
Not sure I said it before but NICE LOOKING RIFLE!

Thank you for the reply! So far I haven't had enough time behind the rifle to get a sense of the accuracy. I'm doing load development so I've had some tight groups and some not so tight groups. haha - It's good to know what the rings are. I should have asked when they put them on, but at the time I wasn't too concerned. It was only later when reading over and over that rings and scope base are super important. Needless to say I got a little paranoid!

I like the way my rifle is looking so far as well! I just need to get a magazine for it ;)

Just got this beauty in a few days ago. Owner claims .25MOA with handloads, he's sending me some of his loaded ammo for me to verify.

Remington 700 5R in .223.

Congrats on the new offspring! - Is that a suppressor on there? I keep seeing similar things on the end of barrels. Is it a suppressor with some sort of cover over it?

That's a heat shield. Silencers get seriously hot from the gasses and start to distort your vision through the scope (mirage). The cover keeps the heat away for a while so you can keep shooting. If you've ever shot with a supressor then you know not to touch the can after several rounds, or it will stick :)

And you will cuss, a whole lot! :)

Another Remington 700

My Remington:
-7.62 Winchester... (Remington 700) w/ Nightforce 3.5-15x50 and NF rings and NF 20 moa rail, illuminated reticle (ARMY F1 over-run, first time mounted)
-McMillian A5 stock, optioned out. Aluminum and epoxy bedded action
-Stock Remmy 5r twist 24" long, Cerekoted, (I'm not good enough yet to waste money on a better barrel), of course, it's free floated
-Jewell Trigger hand fit, (was not drop in, b/c of safety)
-Badger Ordnance magazine conversion with both 10 or 5 round magazines.
-The list goes on, and more will be added but you get the point. Started out as a 29663... One of a million out there. Shoots 3/4 moa @ 100 yard after breaking in barrel w/ PMC Bronze. I think she'll be a shooter as she shoots more and I learn EVEN MORE FROM EVERYONE. Just wanted to be a contributing member as I lurk for years at a time.
-Comments welcome

My beautiful new rig thanks to Chad and the folks at LRI's group buy. Photos don't do it justice, it's just stunning work. Now to make it a bit less pretty, knock it around a bit, use it, camo it up. In other words, go from pretty to SEXY. :D LOL

Another 6mm Creedmoor in the stable for me. This one in a semi though...

Gap10, 6mm Creedmoor
23" bartline
Geiselle dmr two stage trigger
As of now a loaner hensoldt ssg-p which is growing on me very quickly :)

I have an adjustable gas block, jp low mass bcg, captured buffer setup, and brake on the way to take some recoil out and smooth things out a little. Gun shots phenomenonal as it is now and is very forgiving with every load I've put in it. Very happy with it overall!

That's actually pretty close to a build I'd want too. Though I'd build mine on MATEN upper and lower, and probably in 6XC instead. I really like the low recoil, high rate of fire idea, not sure why, it's not very practical for anything I'd do with it.
