PredatOBR and OBR differences

OK, I'm curious. if they add the OBR barrel and adj gas system to the predatAR doesn't it pretty much become an OBR? I thought the PredatAR was a OBR with a ligther barrel and no adj gas system.

What else is the difference between the two?

In the PredatOBR, they use the same heavy barrel without contouring it as the OBR but use the lighter PredatAR frame.

so with the predatOBR you get a heavier barrel/gas block added but a simplified upper and skelentized hand guard. probably saving .5lbs from the OBR and adding about 360 days to your wait time.

I think sometimes those arf guys just want the name. kinda like how I've been itching for a desert eagle just because it's a desert eagle. lol

It saves about 1 lb total. I think a lot of people complained about how high the top rail is on the OBR and not having enough options for rail placement on the handguard.

And the wait time DEFINITELY sucks

The OBR has a raised 20 MOA rail and a busier handguard than the PredatAR

The PredatOBR uses the lightweight longer rail system of the predatAR. Is also has a flat top rail with no MOA cant built in.
