Hello,

Does anyone have a good resource when looking at which primer to use for a certain caliber? I'm looking to reload for 6.5 PRC, 7mm Rem Mag, 308, and 6.5×284.

Also is there a there a brand preference?

Any helpful advice welcome?

I can settle this for you quickly. The only two primers you need to know are:

Small magnum: cci 450

Large magnum: fed 215m (215 is also good)

Yes you should shoot magnum primers in non-magnum calibers. Seat them to full depth (no crush) and your priming solution is forever solved
