Not sure why this is happening and went through basic trouble shooting already like cleaning, parts check, etc.

i cannot use my universal de primer on my coax anymore. It won't punch through the center, it gets skewed somewhere.

i can put the same deprimer on my rcbs and it'll work fine. I have a lee and an rcbs deprimer ; both won't work.

Everything else works fine on the coax.

Are you sure the tension adjustment on the Lee universal decapper hasn't loosened slightly allowing the decapping pin to slide a bit upwards into the die (so it can't reach the primmer)? The die is pushed all the way into the COAX die slot?

There is nothing self centering when using a universal decapper, I would back the retainer screw out a little, the allen screw that holds rings in place, it worked before, should again.
Plus make sure you haven't bent the stems in this process.

It was an OD problem, not thickness. The ring was thicker 180 degrees from the set screw. I don't think it was a Forster.

So then if you inserted the die in a different position, it would not sit over the center of the shell plate? Just trying to understand so I can see if I might be having the same problem.

Sorry fellas was traveling from TN to MD and back.

It turned out to be the punch being out too far. I backed it in and tightened things back up and works now. I had them seated out further so I can get good de priming and it pushed the primers out all the way; had an issue prior where it wouldn't deprime fully so I had to extend it out
