I recently picked up a new Burris Fullfield II Tactical 6.5-20x50, and after mounting the scope on my Burris extreme tactical rings I took it to be boresighted. Upon boresighting the scope, the smith told me that the scope was maxed out on windage adjustments. The base is a Warne steel 0 MOA base. I had a cheap placeholder scope that had no issues, but I did remove the rings to adjust the eye relief. The placeholder scope had no issues with rings or base. Has anyone had this issue before, or does anyone have any suggestions? Please don't tell me to get a better scope or equipment as I am a college student and this is the best equipment I can afford at the time. Thanks in advance!

Re: Problem with new Burris Fullfield II... HELP!

You have one of two problems. Either ur scope is broke or it is mounted improperly. If the scope is broke Burris will fix it no problem. If u send it to them make yourself a mark on it somewhere just to see if you get the same scope back. If that isn't it then the mounts may be off ceter of bore some how. Stick a screw in the rear mount hole and pull a thread to the front center of the muzzle and see what lines up. Also you might Che ck to make sure your wind age knob is on the right side and not the left. Call Burris before u start flamming them here they are a good company for hunting scopes
Hope this helps some

Re: Problem with new Burris Fullfield II... HELP!

Todd, I definitely love burris as well so I had no intention of giving them flak. I have another burris on a different gun and have had no issues. The windage knob is on the right side. Thank you or the advice I will double check the mounting and try the string idea.

Boiler, the scope is mounted on a remington 700 sps tactical in a 700P stock.
