PRS owner is about growing the sport, no matter what you might have heard

With all the prs bashing that a person hears from time to time, it’s always nice when it can be so easily shown to be wrong. Ken Wheeler brought a new shooter to a match and loaned him all his gear. He helped the entire match, giving instructions and advice. It wasn’t even a PRS match, but an NRL22 match. He’s just a good dude like most shooters that enjoy this stuff.

Had the pleasure of meeting Ken at PRS Rimfire nationals last year. He shot in our squad. He registered with an alias so we wouldn’t know he was in the squad. He just showed up and shot like any normal shooter would. He offered tips when asked and meshed with the squad like we always do at a match. He’s definitely good people.

Matt Stiner and the MKM Precision crew doing the same out in PA. Welcoming new shooters, being advocates of the hobby.

Matt has spent hours on the phone with me over the last several weeks. Purely out of the goodness of his heart and desire to help a new PRS competitor. My first match was a great experience and I can’t wait to get back.

I wish more people would just show up and realize how many genuinely good people there are at matches who want to help others.

Ken is a great guy and exactly what the PRS needed.... Hats off to anyone that is willing to take the time to help grow this sport. I see it a lot and I always take time to thank those people.

Those I’ve seen complaining about PRS on this forum, for the most part, are folks who aren’t relevant in the sport any more.
Ken’s done a lot to bring more regional matches which always feeds to your national matches, regardless of the sport. A healthy overall regional population will result in a healthy National level population. Ken’s done other things as well.
