So know we have the horsepower to reach out to the 1500 Meter and beyond with precision firearms and ammo. Who makes a Laser rangefinder that is accurate enough to get you there. The Margine of Error for accuarcy gets really small the farther out you go. And with the current crop of Laser range finders available there Error gets larger as you go the distance.
Ive been playing with these things since they started to get available to the average shooter. I started with the 400 Bushnell then found out that was good for about 200 yards. This was back in the mid 90's then I got the 600 yard Yardage pro. then the new Nikon then the Bushnell Yardagepro 1000. then I uped it to the 1200LRF Leica. So Ive had alot of the ones on the market over the last 12 years or so. None of these Ive listed to include the Swarofsky (sp?)will get me what I NEED at 338LM and 50BMG distances. I find the advertised distance is about 20 -40% short in a real world enviroment when you need it most.
Who makes the bad ass of all laser range finders if cost is not an issue and it may be your life on the line.
Saw the Vector by Vectronics, looking for more possabilities besides them.
Thanks in advance for your Non ( I have a Leupold and it works just fine comments)
