If you don't know about this match, please KEEP READING!

---------------------------------

Anything you want to know about the match can be found here:

www.smackthesmiley.com

This is a postal match, where you shoot the targets I send you on your home range, then send them in to be scored.

Participating in this match also helps raise money for AmericanSnipers.org. In three years of contributing part of the entry fee to AmericanSnipers.org, we have raised over $5800 which has been used to buy gear for our soldiers in harm’s way!

More info below and on the website.

Good luck!

PRIZES:

The prize-list for 2009 has grown a bit more thanks to some very generous sponsors! Check out the PRIZE page to see what you have a chance to win...

DEADLINES

I have added an entry POSTMARK DEADLINE so there is an actual cutoff so I don't have people sending entries with 5 days left. With the deadline where it is, someone entering at the deadline will still have a minimum of 2 weekends to shoot. This means your entry needs to be POSTMARKED by the date listed to be entered in the current match.

The target return deadline needs to be adhered to so I can get the results up in a timely manner. This is also a POSTMARK DEADLINE

---------------------------------

PRIZES

Prizes are donated by generous and willing vendors, so please don't forget them when you need to buy some gear. Prizes are given away as a raffle using the completed targets you send back. So there is no incentive to cheat, as the winner has no assurance of getting any prizes. If you send back a completed target in both RIMFIRE and CENTERFIRE class, you have 2 chances to win.

Prizes to be given away at the completion of the Winter 2009/10 Match:

Jason, check is ready to go out.

I've entered this so much, I know your address without looking it up, (except for the zip code.)

Thanks again for the effort on your part.

Re: SMACK the SMILEY Snowflake Match - ENTRY OPEN!

Jason,
Check will be inbound first of next week for 2 each. Brock's as well, he tells me. Your pm's are full! Maybe we'll get some good snow pics up of this one. Not to rush anyone, but I was wondering if I should have gotten an envelope yet from last match. Your PM's are full dude, LOL.

Re: SMACK the SMILEY Snowflake Match - ENTRY OPEN!

To all Smiley shooters who have mailed entries but whose name is not on the "Received Entries" list:

I have been in the middle of a move and I attempted to have the mail forwarded to my new POB (which I didn't want to publish until the 2010 season so as to not confuse anyone) and apparently the forwarding has not gone as smooth as it should have as it seems things are delayed longer than they should have. On top of that, I am leaving for SHOT, so will not be able to get targets out until next Sat. Unfortunately several entries are in mail limbo (not at my old POB and not at the new one) so I can not do anything about it until they arrive at the new POB. As soon as I get back from SHOT I will get targets out ASAP. Anyone that was delayed, I will offer a couple free targets next match if you want. Just remind me that you were delayed in the Winter match.

Thanks for understanding.

Cheers,
JB

Jason,
Any chance you will grant those of us who's entries got lost in 'postal hell' a commensurate extension of the time available to return the targets? That would give a more level playing field. As I am sure you appreciate, finding decent weather conditions is often difficult this time of year...

Regards,

Re: SMACK the SMILEY Snowflake Match - ENTRY OPEN!

JB,

We sent our entries in 01/04/10. Haven't seen targets in the mail but we are looking. Have a great time at SHOT, I would like to be there.

Jim

Re: SMACK the SMILEY Snowflake Match - ENTRY OPEN!

DC (and others that were delayed a week) - if you need an extra week due to my delay, take it. Just please let me know that you have a target coming later than normal so I can wait for it to pick prizes.

All entries are current on the site now and those added today will all mail out tomorrow.

Good luck,
JB

Just so there is no confusion, which address do you want these returned to, new or old?
</div></div>

You can send to either as it will forward, but if you wish to send to the new address, it is:

Jason Baney
PO Box 105
Montoursville, PA 17754

105 was the only remotely gun related box they had open...o well...not quite as memorable as "308"

just think of this when you are sending mail:
