It might have knocked me down to 75%.

Im probably 95% today.

Will avoid full PT for third day to avoid stressing lungs, tread mill walk only to raise core temps and cook up some CV.

There is lots of other stuff going around right now that will give you nasty symptoms without worrying about the Wuhan flu.
Thanks to the schools around here there was a very nasty upper respiratory infection going around which I got thanks to a coworker that likes to go hang out with lots of other folks & then come to work coughing and hacking.

Cold, lots of sinus drainage, coughing, moving on to feeling sore and a bit weak, moving on to fever and chills, with shivering reaching workout levels.
Doctor was like... not much we can do... get better and if you don't come see us again.

Got better, a week later had a persistent dry cough, went back, and they said lungs are clear, so probably safe, go get healthy and come back if you start having trouble breathing.
Seem to be over it now for the most part as after another week the coughing stopped.

I might suggest that you could easily have one of the number of nasties that are going around right now.
(and just before somebody mentions it... the flu vaccine would absolutely NOT have helped in the slightest on a few things that are going around).

My suggestion to you would be get 8 hours + sleep each night, and try a bit of raw garlic along with vitamin C and vinegar, honey and ginger which all seem to help calm the symptoms down (unless you want to go with the standard meds stuff to do the same thing. In my case I have to be a bit extra careful about any meds that have any liver or kidney side effects).

Usually my colds are accompanied by a bunch of coughing, coughing to the point it hurts the stomach muscles and the force of coughing causes an all day long headache that is really the worst.

Havent had any of that this time, a very mild upper respiratory infection of the type that any of us can be regularly exposed to from any of the millions of shitty things floating around at any point in time, and it doesnt result in the end of the world.

This will be interesting to come back to. We have not hit the lows I agree, but I think we are within 5% of all time highs by December. WITH the caveat Sanders doesn't somehow end up the Dem nominee....not sure how it could happen now, but that's a flier. Today could be that bottom test depending on how markets react to POTUS speech....not too many of the panic crowd wants to be long over the weekend. Once the test kits start showing how many are infected the spaz factor will go into overdrive that's my gut on finding out bottom.

Sand fracking is kind of old technology now, and doesn't seem to be used except in shallow land drilling. Gravel pack is a better way, and we get way more life out of the well.

This next couple of quarters will expose the passive investment bubble crowd even deeper. Companies with outstanding balance sheets have been and will continue to be dragged down by the panic selling of people who don't really know what they own. Over the last 15-20 years I've continually been astonished at how many people can tell me what ETFs they own, but can't list the companies underneath that ticker, earnings, business plan etc? Passive has been good and bad....simplified investing so much quite frankly no homework had to be done, but that's also incredibly dangerous. As long as central bankers have propped up nations with staggering liquidity everything was fine just ride the train. Problem is when things aren't rosy, people panic and dump their index/ETFs and b/c they don't know what is what they dump great companies. Add to that high speed algos and trader margin calls and it's hold on to your nuts! This is ugly and will get uglier, but we can't stop central bankers on a race to the bottom it's a global cluster bang. It took me a long time to reconcile my thinking on this topic as I have always lived by rigid personal financial responsibility, but governments have been allowed to act like morons with our money. The term 'deficits don't matter' infuriated me.....and they don't....until they do.....and then it's all over. Bank accounts, safes at home or investments.....it ain't gonna matter when currency is insolvent.

Until then stay frosty Bear Pitters. I still think America is the greatest country in the world with the greatest economic potential.

No doubt this same mentality reaches into credit markets as well. Again, knowing what you own and why can change the view of this current climate from one of total panic and fear to that of calm and buying opportunity. I don't think this is a 'financial situation' in the light of 2008 though. High yield gets in trouble when recessions come it's just life. Bank health today vs 2008 isn't even comparable. We've been in a Bull market for 11 years and I think we have an entire generation of investors who have no idea what a recession looks like or what's likely to happen.
