I'm not a new user, but you will not find one person that owns one that doesn't think they are amazing. I'm roughly 10,000 rounds into mine and don't know how I lived without it.
How to Get One
How does one get in line to get one? I cannot find any info, anywhere.
I am at the point where I just want to get a connsistant load without the needed weighing, trickling, . . .

There are two issues with the Prometheus. The first is price and that is what it is. It is a high quality handmade unit. There are probably ways to get almost the same performance for cheaper by cutting some corners, but it is what it is. It is not built by the Chinese.
The second issue is the powder limitation. You are limited to extruded powders. Not such a big deal for the vast majority of shooters here, but in these times of powder shortages, especially varget shortages, I sometimessometimes look longingly at my 6 pounds of 2000mr.
One thing that i had an issue with at first was adjustability. I was used to working with digital scales. Once I got more familiar with the balance, it wasn't an issue any more.
I was trickling using an omega trickler with a GD-503. That was a great setup accuracy wise, but my back didn't stop hurting after reloading sessions until I got the prometheus.

I haven't had mine long. I used to throw and trickle on a gd-503 which is a great scale but nothing beats the speed and ease of use of the gen 2

Why are you saying you are limited to extruded powders? Brand just made me an extra small feed plate for using 8208XBR.
I've had my Prometheus for approximately 7 months, and have about 2k loaded rounds with it. I went from running two "hacked" chargemasters to the Prometheus, and I can say the cost is worth it...to me. I abhor loading ammo. I'd much rather be spending time with my wife and kids, and/or shooting.
The speed that I can have a fully loaded round (.223 and .243), assuming clean brass, is approximately every 10-15 seconds, to include priming and seating. Additionally, I am accurate to +/- 1 kernel of powder with every throw...which has helped to translate to much smaller sd's and es's, verifiable in vertical dispersion testing at distance. I'm, by no means, a good enough shooter to truly appreciate that, especially in the tactical match game, but it is comforting to know that the misses are on me and not my ammo.

From IMR's own website, 8208 is a "super short grained extruded rifle powder." 2000-MR is a true spherical powder. I talked with Brand and as soon as I run out of varget, I am going to basically dump the powder in the pan with the Prometheus and either accept or reject the weight without using the trickler. We'll see if that works. It is not as the unit was originally designed.
And BTW... I typed the first post on my mobile, so I probably sounded more negative than I wanted to. I absolutely would not trade away my Prometheus. I really don't use non-extruded powders for rifle (2000-MR being an exception). I just wanted to make sure that if someone had a load that they really liked and it used a spherical powder, the Prometheus might not be the best choice. Very few people here run that powder, but some do. I accepted that as a limitation because I was not getting good accuracy with 2000-MR. However, with recent shortages, that equation has changed.

I related my experience with a number of setups. The Prometheus is the pinnacle of anything you will find on the market, but you pay for that. It is over twice as fast as the closest alternative for weighing charges, which for me is where the value is, not so much with the precision, but you will have far better precision than a Chargemaster.
I realize 8208 is still an extruded powder, but it is extremely small grained. I was thinking you could have Brand make a very small feed plate and it would function. Sounds like he doesn't recommend it though.
