Recommendation for shooting target to sight in the scope/accuracy?

Use these. Lots if different uses. Scope tracking, tall target, dot drill, zero confromtion, sight in and more. It is double sided with one side in .1 mill grid and the other in .25 moa grid.

what srika said above. i like the diamond shapes as it's real easy to put the reticle on both axis (axes?), vs the squares where you have to try and center the axis (axes?).

I like a plain white poster board then add a few stick on targets (plain or high visibility shoot and see style).

I find a large clean backer ideal for sighting in. You can carefully measure and place dots or targets to what ever distance apart that you need.

For initial sight in I use a large poster board and 8” black circular target. I’ve been able
to consistently mount and sight down the note to get on the board and zero in a few shots.

White poster board with small stickers. 1/2” size stickers max. Aim small miss small. I set my scope an inch or two high so I don’t hit the sticker. Looking for groups not hits on a sticker. If you have a center dot reticle 1/4” dots work the best for me. I bought a swfa 20x just for load development. The reticle is the tits for this purpose. Way to much bullshit on the comerical Targets.

Honestly, anything works, as long as its a clean target.
I personally use coroplast from home depot. I get the 96x48 and ask the guys in store to cut it up to 4 pieces of 36x24, with some squares left over. Once its get holed up, I'll use printer paper and the circle stickers. (It's been 3 years, and 10K rounds of 9mm/45/233/308 and shotshells, and I finally might consider using one of the other 3 targets :ROFLMAO:)

But if you wanna go baller, check out action targets for the sig academy. They have either 0.1 mil squares or 0.25 moa squares for adjustment, you can crank your turret it up to 6 mils to do a mini-tall target test, and they have areas for a box test.

I like these Walmart they are cheap and local. The picture only shows the round but half the pack is square 1inch grid.

It’s dealers choice and personal preference. Also where can you get them and how much are they.

Doesn’t matter at all. Shoot and see are nice but they are expensive. If you have bad eyes might be worth it.

Paper plates. All I have ever used. Black sharpie marker and you can make dots to shoot at. You can make triangles if you would rather shoot at the point. Cost a couple bucks for a hundred.

I went to staples and bought a 100 pack of off white folders for 4.99. They are 8.5 x 11 folded so you can cut them in half or open them up. I use red and blue bingo dabbers from the dollar store for making the targets on the folder. The harder or softer you press you can get sizes from 1/4-1”.
