Howdy all,

I'd like to know if a there are any particular actions out there that will be more conducive to proper feed/function with the 6BR family and similar cartridges. Are some known to just "work" better or easier? Is there a particular feature to look out for?

With your action recommendation, is there a particular mag or spacer kit that goes with it like peas and carrots that is a proven system for you?

Thank you for your thoughts!

MDT makes 6BR mags. or regular mags with the primal spacer kit

seeing how most of PRS top guys shoot a BR variant and they shoot about every action i'd say you're fine with about everything and make sure your mags run

fwiw: building the girlfriend a 6BR and am using a zermatt for CRF and ME

I run a 6 Dasher on an impact action, it's an AW cut and I run the MDT BR mags. I know it's not a huge sample size but it ran flawlessly for 1000 rounds this summer.

I run a defiance with just plain acis. I have the mdt br mags and they work good but I haven’t had problems with just plain pmag s. Chamber is a dasher which is a little longer than the br.

Been running a Mausingfield in 6BR since 2014/5 and no-one in the tactical/practical game knew what a 6br was. I could never understand what everyone was talking about when they said it was hard to get to run well from a magazine. That was back before there were mag kits or the MDT br mags. I think it's gotten easier to run other actions now that the magazine selection has gotten more diverse.

Vector action. I run the HRD kit in my AW mag and the MDT 6BR. No issues.

Pretty much all the top actions will run the 6BR. It’s more about the magazine.

I'm on my 2nd 6 BR barrel this year and my lone peak in a MDT ACC has run flawlessly with both MDT BR mags and AW mags. I use the AW mags mostly because i prefer the shorter profile double stack mags but when there is a 12 round stage, ill run the MDT.
