Red flag

Should be a "red flag" to all of us. Their comin, any way they can. All it takes is some snowflake to call in and claim some bullshit on you true or not. Then these scared, shoot first ask questions later, geared up LEOs are gonna come get them a little bit at a time. I'm not dogging all LEOs, but theres a lot of them out there that'll shoot our asses without a second thought and there's nothing we can say or do to defend ourselves once we are planted in the dirt.

Here's another BS way to get a LEO at people's door who don't deserve to be treated this way. How many of you have served in .mil would be "red flagged"? How many of you current LEOs would be "red flagged" if you weren't LE? How many of you "GOOD" LEOs out there want to have to roll up to these "red flag" houses and put your life in more danger than it already is? What are they collecting guns for pre-crime? This isn't Minority Report, they are disarming us little by little.

How could anyone defend against this "red flag" shit? It can be whatever they want it to be.

Sorry Jerry, I should of been more clear in that last few sentences there. I meant more in a "legal" sense rather than literally. I guess what I'm saying is, you can put any persons life under a microscope and find a reason for a red flag. Or even less, a liberal decides to call in and say: I saw "insert patriots name" with a gun, he's scaring me, he looks at me funny, he's been acting strange lately, etc. If our states pass this, that's all it will take for them to come knocking, expect you to give up every firearm, ammo, whatever you have. If not, they sit right there until a warrant comes and then they take them. Or maybe you or I, pissed an LEO off at some point and they decide to come disarm you. Civilians have no defense against a LEO, camera or not they say I fuckin moved wrong and shoot me in front of my family, whether I did or not, their word trumps all. Say they come to my house, if I were to even talk about defending my rights, my guns, whatever. They draw down and fill my house with bullets regardless of who's inside. If I see a LEO pull in my driveway, do I have to send my kids and wife to the basement in fear they are coming for my guns? Say a LEO does pull in my drive, I walk out with my AR slung on my back and I guarantee that LEO is gonna pull his gun, loaded, ready to rock and try to disarm me on my property? If there's a chance under this "red flag" horseshit that a LEO pulls in my driveway to try to take my guns, I'm supposed to walk out there unarmed so he has the upper hand? If I'm armed, he's gonna draw and the shitstorm will ensue.

It's not like their gonna come after everyone all at once. They are gonna slowly hit us one at a time. They are gonna be nervous, scared and ready to shoot me after seeing I'm armed at my own home.

I have a perfect record, never arrested, speeding ticket is my worst ever violation. None of that matters under this rule, it gives them free reign to take them from whoever they want based on nothing. Today, my worst fear is that the LEOs are going to shoot my wife or family while trying to take me down for whatever reason they want. I fear having to protect my family from LE as much as an intruder.

Even though I am a good citizen with a clean record, people know I have guns. It seems to me that is all that is required under this law, that you own guns and if LE or some idiot around me feels like I shouldn't have them, that's all they need to come take them.

They will do it slowly, one at a time so we can't organize against it. They can sell the shooting of anyone who resists as justification for their cause. How many LEOs have shot people that didn't deserve it, then put in the report that they screwed up? LEOs have the right to shoot me no matter if it's a just reason or not. They ALWAYS ALWAYS say the shooting was justified and we all know damn well every LEO shooting IS NOT JUSTIFIED. I can't think of one single time I've ever read: Officer admits to shooting suspect without just cause. They ALWAYS cover their ass whether they just murdered someone or not. Then they wonder why the citizens don't trust them?

Another reason to not let anyone have a clue that you have guns. Just put a Hillary sign in your lawn and you never have to worry about it haha. On a second thought I rather take my chances

Unfortunately in the past I've worked on many of my neighbors guns in one way or another. Sighting scopes, fixing odds and ends, broken extractors, magazine springs etc. Helping people build rifles and teaching people how to be safe. I'm in the process of trying to set up a junior marksmanship program that my states CMP director is helping me with. No one knows what guns I have, but they know I have them and am an ardent supporter of 2A. I've never had anyone say it to my face, but I'm sure there's someone around that doesn't like that fact there always is. Why should I have to hide that? I still feel that I should not have to hide that fact. I'm not one of these goons that go into town provoking cops with an AR on my back. I am responsible and I try to represent 2A supporters as such.

Most the things that I have learned that make me not trust LEOs come from friends that are currently LEOs. The things they have told me have made me very wary of unknown LEOs. They've confided in me things I've sworn to them to never repeat and I wouldn't for their sake and safety as well as my own. This red flag law would give too much power to those LEOs that have no business being a LEO and just like to kill. You all better bet there's a lot more than you think, in places you wouldn't expect.

I want to say that I'm not saying this about all LEOs in any way. There's a lot of damn good ones out there who want nothing more than to avoid killing someone. But there's a lot of them who joined specifically to have a legal way to kill. They are the ones they will send for your guns not the good ones. They have pretty thorough psych evals on all of them and don't think they don't know who to send.
