Member Link Up Registration not open to new members?

Hey guys, I tried to refer a friend to the site the other day and he called me saying he received an error message saying that the site was currently not accepting new members.

Just wondering if that was a glitch or if there is perhaps something he did wrong?

It is not an error,

Registration is turned OFF on purpose.

We are upgrading the forum to a completely new software and we cannot have the member list changing because we are moving the information and converting it.

The new software should be turned on this weekend, and once that is complete registration will open back up.

Awesome news LL! Going to VBulletin? I just upgraded a forum from PHPBB to VB and it was a PITA but so worth it once things were dialed in.

Yes we are going to vBulletin, and 90% should be done this week so we can go live before SHOT and then we'll tweak what needs to be done.

Ya, there WILL be some tweaking for sure. It's the nature of the beast, which I'm sure you're aware of.

I have a feature request - TAPATALK plugin. It's fantastic for smart phone users.
