Yes I'm ecstatic. After reading about Reloader 26 on here I found some.....bought 4 pounds of it, now I need 5 more lol. What a great resource this forum is. Read lots of reviews on it for the 7mm Mag and even the 6.5 CM. After finding an awesome load in the 7mag I switched to the 6.5. I never really thought I could reach the velocities and keep the same accuracy as I was getting with H4350 in it. So here's what the hype is about:

Bergara Approach 6.5 CM
Norma Brass
Federal 210 Match primers
Berger 140 VLD Hunting
Reloader 26 @ 48.0 Grains (Settled by vibrating)
0.060" off lands (Fits the magazine fine)
1st 5 shot avg 2,943 fps, 2nd 5@ 2,941 fps, 3rd @ 2,944 fps
1st group shot 0.78", 2nd @ 0.85", 3rd @ .58"..................All at 200 yards!!!!

Needless to say this is my new favorite all time load, favorite powder and favorite forum on this web. Thanks SH!!! Loading up 200 rounds after this post. Gonna try it in the Bergara Highlander I have sometime this week also. Funny thing also, in the Approach and Highlander the 140 VLD Hunting bullets are only 0.001" difference in touching the lands. That's crazy.

We use the 140 VLD in 260's and 6.5 CM for whitetails. They work awesome. Drop in their tracks with it. We shot probably 28 to 30 deer with them over the last 6 years. Only had one that went 20 yards.

I’m definitely seeing a bit of speed difference with temperature changes but it’s not terrible and seems repeatable.

I didn’t measure speed but from 75 to 45 it was just under two tenths at 1225 and a bit over three tenths at 1875.
Maybe 20ish FPS?

I had a kestrel drop outside and in my ammo box in the laundry room so I’m confident in the measured temps.
Fired a few shots immediately at each target and did the same a bit later when ammo cooled.
The DA only changed 10ft up.

Powder Valley's checkout must do the final tally. It still shows RL26 in stock on the product page. None when you check out. $33/lbs at Big Country is steep.

I like some rl26 but it is filthy. RL26 in a suppressed large frame makes brass look 16 years old after 1 firing and it nearly welds the direct thread can on after 20 rounds. But I do love the speed it gives.
