Remington model 7 in 6.5 creedmoor?

I'm curious if anyone has built a 6.5 creedmoor on a model seven action. I can't seem to find any were on the internet mentioning it. I wasn't sure 6.5cm would fit in a 7 action Becuase it's a little shorter then a m700 SA but I was informed that it would fit

It will fit, the rear bridge is shorter and that's it. The rear bridge being shorter increases bolt bind and adds a lot of slop to the action because there is less bolt left in the action when it's all the way back. Between that and lack of parts availability compared to the 700 there's no way I would use one for a build.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking. I already have a model 7 in 243. And I just bought a 700 LA currently chambered in 7mm. Which wouldn't really work well for a 6.5cm

Yeah you'd be miserable with either of those actions on a creed. Id sell one or just but a new s/a 700. Im sure someone would very easily trade straight across for your model 7.
