Re: Remington model sevens
A buddy has one of these with the wood stock in .223. It's an older one. He loves this thing, or at least that's what he says. He hasn't shot it in years. He is one of those guys that buys guns and likes hunting, but other than sighting them in once a year and shooting deer with them he really doesn't shoot much at all anymore, nor does he ever really clean or maintain them. Since you can't deer hunt with a .223 here, he never uses it.
So I've never seen it shoot, nor have I shot it, but he really likes it. Infact, he has been trying to buy another one in .243 recently as he said he really likes them.
That being said, while I've never shot it, I have fondled his and I absolutely love how it feels in my hands. It fits me perfectly and I think I'd really like it if it shot halfway decent. I'd buy it from him if he'd ever sell it to me, but I'm pretty sure that wont ever happen.
