Remy 700 SPS Tactical in 223

Re: Remy 700 SPS Tactical in 223

There are several reviews on here for this rifle. The twist on the 223 I think is 1 in 9". Personally I would go with the 308 though. They are excellent out of the box rifles with the stock being the first thing you would need to get rid of. Great rifle to build off of.

1:9 twist.

Mine was about 2MOA for an 18 shot group with PMC 55gr stuff during initial break in, and was 1MOA with FGMM.

With handloads of 69gr SMK with RE-15 it averaged .543 at 100yds for (4) 5-shot groups.

I will also say that I never shot it before I dropped in in a McM A5 and worked the trigger down.

Its a good rifle for the cash.

I dropped mine into an AICS pretty much immediately (stock really is cheap) and now have replaced the trigger (the weight was variable from one pull to another).

Getting less than 1MOA out of it with handloads.
