restructuring my collection... should i do it?

I am playing with the idea of selling a dozen+ romanian G ak kits that i have demilled, but have not put the time in to finish into functional rifles as i already have a few built...

the objective is a DTA SRS. obviously i will need to sell more than the dozen Kalashnikov kits to fund this, a norinco 223 and other items i never use are on that short list to fill the budget deficit...
my question is, am i crazy for doing this?
the economist in me says to wait and save up funds for the next purchase, but the wife and my inner slacker says to sell the kits as they will take much time to build and serve no practical purpose other than looking cool in the (secured) man cave.

should i pull the trigger and purge the commie guns(all but the few i already have built)?

in terms of collection value, keeping would be the best decision in terms of the ak's
however on the other hand, i will never sell them unless i am facing foreclosure or not able to pay my bills. so that is a moot point. however the same mentality was said about machine guns in the 80 and 90's when they were cheap(er)

indeed, that was the idea behind buying the optic... glass first then rifle

because they are easy to build and a rock solid platform.
but i agree, i could easily get by with the ones i already have made....

so you no the last time I seen an AK for sale in Au it was $5000

I would say hang on to them Ak's for a wile you just never no what they may be worth .
