So I did both a ladder test and OCW type test at 311 yards yesterday through my 20" .308 AIAX with factory Bartlein barrel and TBAC 30BA suppressor.
trimmed and FL sized Lake City LR Brass with .002" neck tension via Redding bushing dies with a max runout of .002" at the neck and loaded round
PP 2000MR powder with each charge weighed on a balance beam scale
Berger 185 Juggernauts, all checked for consistent base to Ogive measurement.
Loaded to 2.278 to Ogive which yields 0.010" jump and a overall of 2.955" which is about as long as I care to run them in my AIAX magazines.
I believe I am looking at 46.5 grains as being my go to. Vertical dispersion is about .08 MOA!
ALL ROUNDS were held to the same POA, center of their respective black dot which is 3/4" OD. The ladder test ran off the paper vertically by about 3/4"
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks
