Reticle behavior when clamping down on leveling base vs anvil?

I'm just curious on what you folks have experienced with your reticle location when clamping tight with your Anvils vs leveling bases. Do you have to hold your POA off from your final desired POA to account for any particular design traits of your articulating devices? Thanks in advance.

I observe zero POI shift when using my leveling base. I can't speak regarding Anvil.

No. If the POI changes based on what type of base/head is being used (or bag, barricade, bipod, etc.)...it's the shooter's technique.

I have a .5 mil head, always set up just below center and then determine the amount of managed recoil you use to influence the rifle.

I use about 75%, if I go 50% the movement is about 10 Mils up, vs 2 Mils at 75%.

Different style rifles can manage different amounts of pressure
