Rifle Fore End Stud Removal

My Bergara LRP Elite is equipped with a Killer Innovations ORIAS chassis. I would like to remove the "swivel stud" on the fore end. Is there a method for removal without disassembling the chassis or slicing the thing off with a saw? Thanks

Flat, rotates as the swivel is rotated. May be riveted in. Tried to hold it with my finger and turn the stud, but nothing. Thanks!

Oh yea, saw time. It's how I did mine (different chassis) but figured it was worth the practice of sawing something while having a few beers.

I really doubt its riveted. Probably screwed in with thread locker. You could dremel a notch in the back side for a flat head screwdriver if you don't want to go full cut.

Man just take the chassis apart and do It correctly instead of screwing shit up.

I figured it out! There is a snap ring holding the stud. I was able to remove the ring without slicing up the thing or removing the barrel. I fabricated a Rube-Goldberg-esque pliers. Now I can mount a couple of MDT external weights.
