Re: Rifle is too heavy and expensive, come talk to me

It looks awesome, shoots awesome, and most people agree that it's pretty awesome. However, it's heavy as crap and I've got a bunch of cash in it. I'm seriously considering selling the AICS along with the NF NXS and going to something like a 700p HS precision take off stock, stock bottom metal which I have just bought, and maybe a Super Sniper 10x.
I figure it will weigh a lot less, I won't get too upset if it takes a few hits should I take it into the woods, and I can put quite a bit of cash in my pocket (which will also help me get an engagement ring). But I have a couple questions..
-HS Precision 700p stock or something else? B&C maybe?
-Super Sniper is the only thing I can think of that is a GOOD scope in its pricerange. Yes or am I overlooking a good solid scope in this area?
We all know what opinions are like but I still would like to have your opinions. There aren't any tactical matches in my area and when we shoot, it's always informal. So, what say you?
Thanks!

I know the above highlighted statement is a technical term , but how heavy?
Lose the can, chop the barrel to 20", weigh the bipod against a Harris (notched legs and 6-9" with swivel). Also remove the action and weigh the stock.
As for the scope, figure out what you are going to do the most and at what range, then look at the scope specs and make your decision from that.
Good luck.
