I just took the rifle and reddot mounts that Spuhr donated to TriggerTime and checked out the rifle - it is REALLY nice! Sky with Steiner/Burris will be taking over a Steiner 4-16x50 and a Burris FastFire on his way home today, mount everything up, and send me updated pics - I will post them up ASAP.

i told frank on the phone , i am a lefty who does tactical competitions and a righty rifle slows me up on some stages so i need a lefty. sooooooo i plan to keep the scope and mount but put the rifle up for sale so i can build my new lefty 6.5 creedmoor.

i am also donating a $1000 to scott and his family from the sale of the rifle.

Congrats to MrBungle! The support and generosity of the community here has been absolutely amazing. My wife has been saying: "Our house was just a location, community is where you really find your home." After seeing all this support from you guys, I have to agree with her. Things are looking up for us now, and its all thanks to family, friends, and good guys like you here in the shooting community. You guys really pulled together on this, and I'd like to thank each and every one of you for the contribution. It was amazing to see the stats and see contributions coming from all over the country.

Special thanks to Lori, Tod, and Kevin. You guys really knocked this one out of the park, and Leah and I very much appreciate all the time and hard work you put into this project. I haven't known you guys that long, and I'll never forget how you immediately stepped up to help as if we've been life-long friends. I'm lucky to have met so many good people here in the local CO shooting community…

I'd also like to thank Frank one more time for supporting this here on the hide and for his time invested. Got the Sniper's Hide raffle rifle today. man, it is sweet. i cannot believe how light and comfortable this rifle is. if you are thinking about a XLR stock, get it. the Bighorn Action is smooth as butter. chambered in 6.5x47. the Steiner scope has awesome glass and a zero stop. Loading some ammo for it today and shooting it Thursday and hopefully Sunday.

I am keeping the rifle for now. bought all the brass and dies for it. i could not have possession of the rifle and not shoot it. I am sure in the bible somewhere it is written that not shooting a rifle you own is a grave sin.

i am also looking to make a donation to the Scotty D fund as soon as my business picks up. I feel that is only fair since I am keeping the rifle.
