CZ452 thing barrel with bushnell elite tactical 10x and harris bipod.

I bought my Savage MKII last summer. I just recently put a Boyds tacticool stock, and DIP bottom metal and trigger guard. The optic is the cheap crap that came with the rifle.

Both the Savage MKII and the Savage PC .223

I'll throw in a pic of my GSG5 too...why not....

Rings are Weaver Tactical 6-hole Rings on a Diversified Innovative Products (DIP) 20 or 25 MOA base (can't remember). I know it is probably over-kill for a .22 but I can always switch the scope & rings out to another rifle....JaxOps

CZ 453 Varmint with IOR 2.5x10-42 scope and Harris bipod. Anxiously awaiting Manners T4 stock.

My 11-yr old stepson and I were shooting a 6" steel flange at 150 yds a few weekends ago with it. He couldn't believe he could hit something so small from so far away!

I still have a new Walnut stock. The one in the pic was an extra that I painted and bolted the rail for the bipod to...
I dont have to worry about scratching it this way...

Seems to shoot pretty good as well.

I realized i never posted a picture of my rifle here, but that is just as well the new camo stock just came in......well it is camo if your in santa's work shop.....or a circus......lol Scope level and prone shooting mat should be here anytime. Going shooting tomorrow. Still needs lower rings as i had no idea the 25MOA base would be so tall. Yes a 25MOA base on a 17hmr.

My "tactical" rimfire stick. Its a Tactical Solutions AR22 M4 upper that I put a YHM diamond rifle length free float tube on. I havent really shot any groups with it yet but I may do that tomorrow. Runs like a sewing machine on Federal Automatch bulk ammo.

Never thought 22s would be this fun. Still waiting for a day with out 25+ mph wind gusts to try out the final product but here's the build up.

Came with a ER Shaw barrel, B&C anshutz stock, and the the factory parts. Didn't like the right hand only B&C so i sold it.
Volsquartsen trigger internals
gunsmithers v block
stripped paint off action
EGW 20 moa base
SWFA rings
SWFA SS 6x (really liking this scope on the 22)
Kidd charging handle, rod, n spring.
Some sort of recoil buffer
Bolt worked over by Que (pinned headspaced, n whatever else he does)
Moded the factory stock to fit the ER barrel, pillar bedded, pinned rear action pin, bedded first bit of barrel, and refinished.

The moded oe stock ergonomics just didn't work out so its on eBay. Sucks cause I put alot of work on it.

Bolted it into a boyds tacticool. Here's a 300 yd target half arse groups. About 165" of drop from a 50yd zero. Much better results than i was expecting. S&K ammo. Odd thing is all 3 groups had the same POA but different POI, just got up to look through the spotting scope between them, so something about the way I was holding the rifle was inconsistent maybe.

These are my two primary rimfires both CZ 452 Varmints. The top is a .22WMR and lower is .22LR The WMR sports a Vortex 6-24X Crossfire in Burris Pos-Align Zee rings. The LR sports a 6-20x Vortex Viper in low Burris Xtrema rings on a DIP 25MOA extended base. The funny looking stocks below each rifle are Klinsky target stocks made in the Czech Republic. This photo was snapped just prior to both being sent to my local gunsmith for finished inletting work. I should have them back this week or next.

If you are pillar bedded I'm not sure how holding the rifle would have this much impact. At 300 yards it might just be very slight shifts in the wind. I'd be curious to have you shoot at 3 different targets (very close together) back to back to back. See if your poi changes like it did at your first shoot.

Changed the wording in the original. After reading the quoted part realized that wasn't very clear.
3 groups had same POA but different POI.
Was not bedded at the time just dropped it in the tacticool and went. Haven't got to play since, we've been haveing some stupid wind (20-30 mph gusts) for the past week.
