Rifle Scopes Riser for Scope Mount on a DPMS LR 10 .308 M2

Anyone use one of these?

I have low TPS rings that need a boost up to clear the Fore Stock (Handle is removable)...

Only need about an 1/8th of an inch...

Aside from working itself loose, what other negatives would there be in using one to boost the scope???

Let me know, I want to get my scope mounted ASAP...

RATTA-TAT-TAT...

That should work, but it might still leave your scope mounted too far back and you'll end up with your scope rings on top of the erector housing. This will be dependent on your scope and the necessary eye relief.

Take a look at something like the Badger Ordnance riser rail. It allows you to mount your rings a bit further forward on the rail.

As mentioned above you can have problems with eye relief and scope mounting if you do not go with a mount geared for AR mounting. I suggest you look into the Nightforce Unimount, they are extremely well built, just pricey

If that seems a little too expensive, American Defense makes some very nice mounts for a little less

Good luck

I've used the YHM riser on a AR-15 without any complaints. It will get you a bit of height, and will also provide some forward mounting space over the handguards.

+1. I have these on mine and I'm totally pleased and would not hesitate to recommend them.
