Ok, I got the kit from RCBS (Rock Chucker). Now in order to do this right I need to get the rest of this?

Shell Holders: (one for press and one for hand primer)

Dies:(Both the sizing die and the seating die right?)

I am starting with a Savage 10PC Bolt action but its DBM fed I will still need to do the neck sizing process correct? Or is this just with something that is semi-auto where I don't.

Caliper: Going with a RCBS Dial Calp. (this is the case length guage correct?)

Powder Trickler:

Case Trimmer: Lyman Universal Case Trimmer
Doubled with the Lyman Case Care Kit that fits on the Universal Case trimmer hopefully not a POS. If it is guide me to something else please.

Lyman 2500 pro magnum turbo tumbler: Cost effective would like a side tumbler or a sonic but this is starting to get really expensive and I havent even bought power, primers or bullets yet.

The Rock Chucker Kit included Press, Book, lube pad and lube, powder scale, funnel, powder despenser, priming tool, case debur tool and case tray.

You will need a case trimmer, dies, shellholder at least. If you want to get off cheap on the trimmer, get the hand trimmers from Lee. They are cartridge specific, and like $10. I have the same set as you and only added dies, shell holder and the Lee trimmers and am making 1/2moa .308 rounds. I didn't have anyone to show me how to do it, just lots of reading and forums for help. Pm me once you get going if you have any questions, and triple check every step in the reloading process. Be safe

- Digital caliper... get the cheap ones from Sinclairs Intl
- LE Wilson Case Trimmer... the best manual trimmer you can get
- LE Wilson Case holder specific to your cases
- Hornady LNL comparitor insert for your specific caliber
- Hornady LNL Headspace set with Comparitor Body
- Hornady LNL OAL tool
- Hornady Modified case for OAL tool
- Imperial Sizing Wax

All of this stuff will allow you to get precise measurements relevent to reloading as well as allow you to set up your dies PROPERLY.

Seriously look at the LE Wilson case trimmer as it craps on others out there. Also has handy add ons to allow chamfering etc.

If your on the market for a case cleaner, my advice is skip on the vibratory tumbler and corn method... its old school. If your serious about reloading look into stainless media tumbling, nothing beats it. Second to that is ultrasonic cleaning. Both of these methods allow primer pocket cleaning and case interior cleaning. Vibratory dry media cleaners dont acheive this.

You can get an ultrasonic cleaner for cheap, and use products from supermarkets such as vinegar and baking soda to have you on your way. You could easily do this all for under $100.

You could also buy a bigger Ultrasonic cleaner with more transducers and this will do the job faster or allow you to clean more brass at a time.

Or you could go stainless, http://stainlesstumblingmedia.com/index.php

For about $280ish that will give you the cleanest brass hands down.

Get the Redding powder trickler. It is heavy, and won't move around on you. Outside of my Rockchucker Press and dies, it is my favorite piece of reloading gear. Just feels "solid".
