After some saving up and finally deciding, I ordered the RS chassis, for my 30-06 build. Ordered it Saturday, and it came in this morning, the barreled action is at the smith so no pictures yet, but I have one question. When I asked Todd about magazines, he said 300 wm standard length, not cdi length. I got on Brownells and founc 2 different sizes but neither says standard or cdi, just 3.775 and 3.715. Can someone tell me which I need.

Either one will work for 30-06, but I would go with the longer ones so you can use them on pretty much any LA Round.

I believe its the actual magazine OAL, as in only one will fit in the chassis good and tight. Measuring the mag well, its a hair over 3-3/4, so I'm leaning towards the 3.775 being the one that fits, but don't want to chance an inaccurate measurement costing me a few hundred dollars.

Those are accurate mags. Just get the 300 win mag aics mags made by accuracy int. Brownells has them in stock. You will need to pinch the feed lips closed a little.
