I have to vent my frustration. I am waiting to hear back from Todd on my concerns and will update appropriately.
Just got my chassis and overall its very nice, but I have 2 concerns and I have an email in to Todd to see if they will be addressed, although I am not holding my breath considering the complete and utter lack of communication during the entire process. All I read about was Todd's great customer service, but I generally experienced none of it. I will be interested to see how he deals with this, if he deals with it at all.
I sent Todd a section of Badger rail, the Bi-Pod Accessory Rail. He knew this. He said "no problem, no cost to install". Sent it down with my check and the instructions for exactly what I wanted.
What I got today was NOT my section of Badger rail, it was a section of some cheap, $3, universal rail, not the $30 section of rail I sent him(and the section of rail I sent him is nowhere to be found in the box or bag of accessories for the chassis). If he couldnt install the section of rail I sent him for some reason, thats one thing, call me, email me, something and tell me that and return the piece of rail.
On top of that its not even installed centered on the chassis. The front is(I believe his CNC drills the front hole), but the rear is not centered thus causing the rail to not be aligned with the center line of the chassis. Its visibly off, maybe only 2-3 degrees, but still off.
I dont think either these things are really the end of the world as the section of rail he installed will work with my QD mount(Larue) although its a little short(the rail section) so I dont have full contact on the QD mount and its not off that far to really cause issues(I dont think), but both combined bother me.
