Anyone shot at the Rockford Gun Club? Its 1k yards, only one in the state, and I'm moving down there for work, so I thought I'd give it a try, just looking to see if anyone has any experience with it. Good, bad, etc? Thanks in advance.

Yep. Been a member for a few months. Awesome range. About lived there during the govt shutdown.

The pic is from the left side of the range. Set up for PRS type shooting.
This is the only picture that I have of the 1000 yd. but it’s foggy

Yes, I have been a member since middle of 2017. Robert is a stand up guy and the range is really nice. Right side is a square range; 200, 900, 1000 yards. Left side is UKD from 200-700 yards. Id say about 35 pieces of steel ranging from 6" plate to full size ipsc.

It is $400/year with $100 initiation fee. Robert has stated several times he doesn't want it to get too big. He has some attrition over the years but not too much. If you want to join i'd contact Robert via the website and he will give you a tour of the place.

From your OP, Barbour Creek Shooting Academy in Eufaula, AL supposedly has 1000, 1200, & 1580 available. I’ve never been there and I don’t know if they sell non-students a day pass or something but possibly?

They dont i asked so many times, go out there and use the range for a day to gather dope. They said i could come as a part of the classes they offered for hunters. I told them i had no use for that. And prices where pretty steep i believe in the 1300$ for 2 days. For that price i would rather be going to Frank's Colorado classes.
