Looks to be there same besides the differences you already noted. In the 5-25 they are all double turn, just depends on if they are locking or not. Neither of those appear to be.
There was a deep discount on pmii 5-25's so the low price has been seen before.
Best thing to do is call and confirm, but I'd bet there's nothing you didn't catch.

Better to have it and not need it, than to not have it and say oh shit.....

So maybe im missing something but other than one is in MOA CCW and the other in CM CW... the big chunk of cash difference is...what? Turrets look the same to me but one is advertised as DT turrets (double turn right?)

Im in the market so... you know.

The above scope with article no. 677-911-982-A8-A2 has the P4F MOA reticle and the reason for the cost difference I would assume.

$2400 is pretty close to as good a deal as you'll get. I snagged one for a tiny bit less on a double stacked coupon/sale at opticsplanet but those sold out in a few hours. Generally a S&B PM II is the same across the board... you're just looking at turret features and reticle. Quality and glass is the same across the board.

Choice between a S&B PM II vs and IOR? No question go with S&B. If you search IOR on this site you'll find a lot of comments about failures and pissing matches about whether the scope is junk. S&B on the other hand is pretty much the gold standard.

So the mil/mil at $2,400 is as good as a deal as you'll get? I'm torn between the S&B 5/25 and the ior valdata 4-28-50 and I'd like a little input.
thanks

S&B all the way.
You might luck out and get an IOR that does not break and that you are very happy but even then you're stuck with it for life unless you want to sell it for pennies on the dollar.
With an S&B you know what you're getting, the scope that set the bar for every high end scope made today, and is still a stellar performer. They hold their value, too.
I just bought one of the $2400 S&Bs from Mile High. It was too good a price to pass up.
