Re: Savage 110 LA Stock?

Yes thats a Mcmillan A4, same stock used as used on the m40a3. the bolt handle is from sharpshootersupply.com, and the fluting on the bolt was done by Nathan Dagley from Straight shot gunsmithing, Nathan is an awesome guy and turn around time was fairly quick, the guys at SSS are also awesome and ship out very quickly.

Give Nate a call, I had mine done last year as a favor when he wasn't taking orders on bolt fluting jobs, I believe he's taking orders now and I think it runs about 75$ which is a really good price considering other places charge 100+$

Re: Savage 110 LA Stock?

everyone has different opinions, ill probably get a T2 for my next build, but manners just does not have the options that Mcm does.

Re: Savage 110 LA Stock?

Take a look at stockadegunstocks.com.I haven't seen one up close, but they look pretty god on the web site and have lots of options. The money saver package on the prarie dog/ tactical looks like a good way to go since lots of people end up painting their own stock.

Where did I state that you said that? dont get bitchy with me troll.

To bjohnson:
To be realistic, both McMillan and Manners stocks are excellent, at the end of the day it comes down to what fits you, I loved the A4 when I first held one so I ordered an A4.
Another determining factor for me was the options you can have on a Mcmillan that you just cant have on a Manners, (mold in camo, different cheek pieces, etc...)

Both stock makers are great, so order with confidence from either of them.

Your opinion is your opinion. I am not gumming up this thread. If you would like to explain to me how I am a bitchy kid/troll, PM me.

Re: Savage 110 LA Stock?

I bought a McMillan A5 for my Savage 110. I had to order it and it took about five months. It's a great stock and I didn't mind the wait. As mentioned above Manners can hook you up and they are also great stocks.

Wait time right now is about 2-2 1/2 months I believe.
