My SBR kit is almost done. I started with a Colt SBR lower with a Timney trigger. I slid on a B5 Sopmod stock and attached a SAPR from Battleline Industries. For the upper I went with the MRP from LMT. This gave me a great platform for the EXPS-3 from EoTech with a 3X from Aimpoint with my Troy Battlesights for irons. Out front I matched a Larue short grip with an Inforce light from Inova.
Now I can change my calibers and barrels in a few moments, mere seconds if I am very quick. I started with a 10.5” barrel in 5.56 from LMT, I also have a .22lr conversion kit for this barrel. I then went with a 300AAC Blackout barrel from Noveske converted to the MRP system so I only have to change the barrel to get a 30 caliber round. I then had my 5” 9mm 3-lug barrel from TROS converted to the MRP, this lets my run my Trinity suppressor from Gemtech when I slip in the conversion block.
I am still waiting on my Phantom 7.62 Titanium suppressor from YHM to run on both my 5.56 and 300AAC blackout. I have the entire kit wrapped up in a Remington MCS case so each barrel and part has its own compartment and place.
I was very happy with the way it shoots but now that I have added the SAPR from Battleline it shoots like a dream. The whole thing runs and runs for as long as I can afford the ammo.
