SBR Picture thread. Show'em!

Re: SBR Picture thread. Show'em!

Slick case!

I use a 511 Select Carry Sling Pack for my Krinker Plinker

and a Black Hawk Discreet Cary case for the AR stuff.

For SBRs / SMGs, the 511 case is fantastic!
The back pouch can be setup to hold a hydration bladder or you can put some body armor in it.
The case can be setup to be used as a single point sling.
The strap has a 511 Fanny Pack module on it for a sidearm and 511 conveniently ships an extra strap so that it can be used independently.

The BlackHawk case works much better than I would have thought.
I've been using mine for over five years now and I never get a second look when I have is slung over my back.

Re: SBR Picture thread. Show'em!

Damn nice looking rig there! I wish my newest acquisition were here to be posted. It has a stock and a 10" barrel, but isn't an SBR or SBS, any guesses?

My TAC2 Takedown 9mm SBR in a brief case, 007 style. Suppressor is tucked into the handguard. Very nice kit. The white stuff in the mag well area are my SBR and Suppressor form 4's.

Re: SBR Picture thread. Show'em!

I just got the stamp for this one, its a .300 Blackout I am going to get a 5.56 upper for it. I should have my M16 lower here in a couple of weeks and I will switch the uppers back and forth on it.

I am still waiting for the stamp for this one. Right now the BC 1.5 is pinned. I just got the DBAL and it flat out rocks. This is my favorite AR...for now

Re: SBR Picture thread. Show'em!

For those with Krinks and in particular folding stocked Krinks - what is an OAL? Second - for those that have shot the Krink in 5.45 and 7.62 - how was the difference? Would you rather have 5.45 or 7.62? Which one has better terminal ballistics? Lastly, if I had an SAR1 sitting around is that something I could have SBR'd or do I need to actually buy a Krink kit?

TIA

I have an M92 (7.62x39) and a Russian Tula 86 (5.45x39). The OAL of the M92 is 31 inches. The Tula 86 Krink is 28.5. I bought both these guns as kits. For plinking, I find myself using the 5.45 more often. It has much less recoil, and allows for quicker follow up shots. Very smooth. Both guns make a nice fireball. The gas systems are shorter on the Krinks, so Im not sure how short that you can make a full size AK like the SAR1. I know that lots of folks cut the barrels down to around 12.5 inches but the Krink barrels are much shorter than that. Im not expert, by any means, but I do love the Krinks.

Sportmans Guide has some Serbina M85 Krink kits on sale right now, that use 5.56 and come with the barrel and a few mags. Also free shipping today. It think this will be my next build. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/serbian-krinkov-parts-kit.aspx?a=959280&e=Y

Can "budget" and "SBR" actually be used in the same sentence?
