Rifle Scopes Scope for 224v

So my budget is $4-500..

Was considering the athlon Midas Tac, swfa 10x, primary arms 4x18(newer upgraded version) or something that pops up in the PX...

What mount would you use? How high with want cant ?

I would say to give Doug at Camera Land a call and ask him what is the best scope he can get you in your price range. I like the Athlons and they frequently have demo models and always take care of the members here.

I remember Mike at MH said in a podcast the mount size you need for a 50mm objective but I can't recall which ep. it was

Most of the one piece mounts designed for the AR platform should give you plenty of clearance. Both Burris and Vortex offer pretty nice one piece cantilever mounts that are reasonably priced. I own both and have been happy with both. I would guess Camera Land will stock something too. I have bought several optics from them and have been very happy. In fact I don’t think you will find a single member here who has bought from them that wasn’t happy.

I’m looking at a Vortex Diamondback Tactical for mine.

I mounted 5 of these recently to find one that worked. Put them on at the correct 18 inch pounds and started to bore sight them. Raised the reticle and watched it go up then off to the right on the first four I did. Fifth one worked. They need to fix that before I'll try another.
