Scope for 7.62x39 bolt gun?

Alright, so I finally got my Ruger 7.62x39 bolt gun. Now I need some glass. I currently have access to nothing greater than 200 yards. Since this is just a fun toy, I need something in the sub-$400 bracket I'm looking at....

Blackhound 1-8 (don't know much about 'em, but they're supposedly a Chinese OEM for others)
PA 1-6 ACSS
Burris RT-6
Riton X3 Tactix (on sale at Ranier)
Bushnell AR 1-8
Strike Eagle 1-8 (might try "make on offer" at scopelist)

Is the Burris still the "go to" in this category?

Recommendations?

the RT-6 is decent, and you can get the pepr mount with it for ~$350 from cabelas (i did) but if you can stretch your budget a little bit, i think the swampfox arrowhead 1-10x i just got for $450 is better in almost every way.

I have the Burris RT6. It is a very nice scope and suits it's purpose very well. Glass punches well above the price point, reticle is well defined, illumination is very good. Would buy again.
However, if you think that you may end up dialing, then there are better options.

Yeah, given the relatively short range and 7.62x39 I don't plan on doing any dialing...

I think primary arms and burris have 7.62x39 reticle scopes if that's your thing.

I went with the RT-6 from the gents at Camera Land/Sports Optics. Doug and Neil are 1000% thumbs up!! Gave me a fantastic deal! I'll definitely be buying from then again.
