I live close to Madison. Scott and the Republican legislature did pretty well his first term. I believe they lost their will to fight pretty much throughout his second term. Not much accomplished IIRC.

Note - The Wisconsin MSM beat him and the legislature every bit as bad as they beat on Trump today. No quarter we ever given.

Walker can go fuck himself. If he wasnt such a pushover; he’d still be governor. These people who think they are running things are failing to see the volatility of what they are trying to do. People are getting very tired of this stuff, and as example after example is revealed of the inability of enforcement efforts is shown, they grow more tired.

He was "meh". He tried to go after our retirements, during his last term, by wanting to use the interest generated, to fund his "pet" projects, that's when he started to lose some of his favor. He got bitch-slapped for that one and I was thankful for that. Wisc. has one of the best, sustainable, retirements (was #1 or #2, last I checked) in the Nation. he was big into sawing state owned land and turning mature forest into clear cut.

the other thing he did was to start selling off small pieces of public land.....under the radar....with the excuse of “too small to be of use’’. one of the tracts of land he tried to sell was a 40 acre piece that my local gun club donated to the state that is along a trout stream. it offers nice access to the stream and land people can hunt. dirty cocksuckers. luckily, my gun club was on it, fired off a letter about why the land was donated to the state (preservation and protection for future generations) but if they were unable or unwilling to live up to that, that we’d take it back instead of letting them sell it. also threatend them with a lawsuit over it. they backpedalled pretty quick on that one. but if no one was watching; fucker woulda sold it to his chums.
