Gunsmithing Scout Supply Company Stage 1 Accurization????

I was browsing the interwebz....and came across this link:

Now...I have recently purchase another remington, and it's setup as my 100-500 range/groundhog gun...it's just here to be extremely cheap to shoot (50gr v-max over wc884 in LC range pick up) and as long as I can punch 1-1.5" groups at 200yds, I'll be fine....but I do NEED my barrel threaded...as I can't just duct tape on a Ranger 3, when they come out.

So this guy has:

2. 3 week turn around
3. Thread AND thread protector
4. Truing of action/bolt
5. option for bolt knob install

His prices are borderline insane, in a good way...but i can't find any feedback as apparently my google-fu is weakening :-/


Anyone have work done by him, seen work done by him, or maybe shot a rifle that he accurized?

I think I have seen them post in the Classified with one of their stage 1 SPS's for sale. But thats all I can tell you about them.

It sounds like a good package. Some things you may want to inquire about.

-How is the action being trued? By reamer/tap mandrel?
-How is the chamber being set back, just pushing forward one thread or more?
