Rifle Scopes Setting zerostop on Schmidt/Bender PM2

After downloading a couple of Schmidt Bender user manuals, it appears I can't find directions on how the zero stop sets on a Schmidt PM2 5-25 DT. If it's the same as Kahles or the old Steiner optics I should be good to go but want to make sure I do this correctly and know how to set it before the optic shows up.

Those of you with experience behind this scope I'd greatly appreciate your help.

Which model is this? The DT or MTC turrets? Best way to tell is if you have yellow window and yellow numbering along the top for the second revolution or a pop-up button (DT). MTC will have heavy indents on every whole MIL.

The stop is integral to the scope. Another words, it's always where the "0" is set to the erector. It should always stop on "0" (although the travel may go a little bit below the "0" and is normal).

Let me ask you this. Does the yellow 2nd rev window come into view after 13 MILs as you have it setup right now?

Thank you for hanging on and helping. I actually haven't received the scope yet -- I should have it in posession tomorrow. I just wanted to make sure I understood this prior to getting the optic.

Ahh, no problem. Yeah, you'll see what is going on when you have it in hand.

Just don't pull the turret caps off - they aren't supposed to come completely off which S&B usually fails to mention in some manuals.

Double Turn turrets - as I remember, after re-setting your Zero, the stop should be exactly 6 clicks below the Zero (0.6 mils). This is supposed to allow you to dial for distances inside your Zero range, yet allow you to find your Zero by feel alone if necessary.

Mine stops right at 0.6 mils below zero as well.

Need to reset my DT turret. Mine only has 1 screw holding it in and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to re-set the zero? I am shooting too high so I need to lower the value of the "0". Turret does not seem to move up and down. What am I not doing right?

You need to go below zero? Dial scope to zero, loosen the two set screws, move the loose turrent so that it reads however much you want to go below zero, then tighten the set screws (ie if you are 2.3 mils high set the turret at 2.3 mils). Now click dial back down to zero. That's it.

I only have 1 set screw that I can see, not 2.

My DT turrets all have two screws. I'm assuming the function would be the same with one screw if you needed to go below zero.
