My track toy... 2012 Cayman R. Realized a boyhood dream with factory delivery when I was stationed in Germany.

Are you going to run compound turbos on your P pumped 12 V?
Thanks for slowing it down for me! 🤪

I’m not planning on it. It’s all I can do now just to get all the parts into one big pile. Plan, fabricate, repeat... I’ll delve into details once it’s running and drivable. And painted. And reassembled...

Got a thing for Toyota Tacoma’s. The 98 has a TRD Supercharger , Headers, cat-back exhaust.
Tranny built by a Level 10. Ultimate sleeper , bruised some egos 😉Also has over 320,000 mi.
Was a maroon color , after a drunken weekend it ended up a sand-dish color.
The 2014 is lots more plush....still a 4x4 , totally stock. She only has over 6,000 on her yet. Mostly 2 trips to Colorado.

Not officially mine , but I drove it for my uncle when he physically wasn’t able to get in her any longer. He quit driving race cars in his late 80’s. He was a Pharmacist Mate aka Corpsman in the Navy during WW 2. He was a charter member in NHRA , since 1953.
66 Vette , Small block Chevy , Powerglide Tranny. I was driving in the picture. Feels really odd when it pulls the wheels when launching. Local strip only 1,000 ft. Did it in mid 8’s

...125 mph.
He passed away a few years ago 😒

Resto pics of my 69. Has a full forged roller 408ci Cleveland in it. I’ve had the car since I was 15. Bought it with a blown motor and broken tranny. Only way I could afford one back then. At this point I’ve got a small fortune and when my wife bitches abou the car tell her I had it before her and I’ll have it after her and will either die with it or in it.

Traded in the Challenger for a JKU. Fun car, but this Wrangler takes me more places. First pic in the Clearwater NF in Idaho in September, second pic in the Olympic NF earlier in the summer. I dare say she looks better topless!

I'm not usually much of a ford guy, but should have this nestled in its home before Thanksgiving.

Update from post #1 in this thread.
I stopped by the engine builder on my way home. The transmission is built and ready. The engine is scheduled for the Dyno next week. It will get run to break it in and then the tuning begins.
468 cubic inches of Olds. Well the block is the only part left that's actually oldsmobile.
The heads will flow enough to make 800 HP but we're going to keep it down around the 500 for HP and torque.
