Shadowtech pig tripod mod.

I have been using the tripod for a while now, but the center colum had to much play and saw that I could remove some parts and make it a little more better

I took if apart:

Then I cut of the threaded collar

Connected the 2 screws and mocked it up

Here is it all tightened up

And here is the tripod now fully functional and it appears to be more stable, the ballhead is from Amazon but it does the job pretty well, I'll see how long it will survive but for now I can tighten it and it will hold the rifle good.

Do you have a better pic of the arca rail on the rifle? I need to do that on my hunting rifle.

I just milled a square pocket the size of an arca plate, and screwed it to two nuts that I bedded into the rifle stock under the barrel

This is what I’m doing on my hunting rigs. Then you just add an Mlok to Arca Swiss .

Nice work. We had a thread not too long ago about methods for deleting the center column and doing the same thing without removing the top male threaded part. Your method is even simpler, and even lower.
