Shankster, one of the Hide's most famous and quintessential miscreants, was banned in the final hours of the Scout move.
He and I both, in fact, were banned for posting after the HMFIC had warned that any further posts to the old site would result in a permanent ban.

As we all have have learned in the past couple of years, "permanent" is a subjective and relevant term.

We are home now, and while we are all happy to be back here, there remains an emptiness. A void.

I reinstated his account shortly after we came back here - right after Frank reinstated mine and promoted me to hall monitor.

Shank, if you're reading this, we hope you're well, and we'd love to have you back here, Pimpin' Yo Hefties.

For what it's worth, I wholeheartedly agree. There is an emptiness that only he can fill. For the love of all things large n musky, please reconsider your now self imposed absence . You're not one to play the butt hurt role so get the hell back in here. How can you, with a "clean" conscience, leave us hanging like this?
Seriously, we're asking you to get back in the game. That should be enough. We've broke out the fat lamp to help guide you home and we've got some pretty dedicated gentlemen on watch to ensure that light burns bright and uninterrupted to assist. Now get in before Frank lifts the ban on the word "liposuction ".

Seriously and beyond the chubs... Shankster had a knack for cutting to the core of a matter in few words. His humorous posts were my best laughs of the day. His reputation with the heffalumps is what we all laugh about. But his genius was in his ability to make us all laugh with few (or no) words. SH is not quite SH without Shankster. Though some will disagree.... I stand by my opinion!

P.S. Would be nice if VJJ came back, too. There's someone who could get me chuckling no matter how bad my day! And Doc. Whose reloading (and vintage) knowledge is beyond reproach. Though I suspect Doc is now gainfully employed in the healthcare field and has move on to bigger and better things. But miss you here, Doc!

That would only work if he had just one main email account that he pays attention to all the time. Most people use multiple email accounts. One for personal use. One for business use. One for joining websites. And of course several for trolling accounts. Etc.

I find it amusing that of all the members we have had, shank was probably the one who had the most skill at tracking people down using their profile info. As such, he is exactly who we need in situations such as this.

Then I guess I'm just a simple old geezer, because I have one email account that I created sometime in the 90s, and now an Apple account for my app purchases. I didn't realize I "needed" 6 email accounts. I check my sole email acct maybe once a month just to empty all the PSA, Mile High, Midway, and Euro Optic sales ads.

With Shank's legendary Google-fu, Im confident he could find a message in his OWN email account/s.
