I gave a Gen2 RPR in 6.5 Creedmore, unfired. I doubt I will ever shoot precision matches so I'm wondering what to do with the gun. I could sell it as is and don't have a problem with that, or I thought about having my smith shorten and crown the barrel, put a short handguard on it and basically turn it into a range gun.
I would entertain a reasonable offer and a pickup close to Austin.

What say, guys? Anyone ever shorten one?

Recoil will be noticeable with no brake....on the other hand the guys on either side at the range will thank you for removing the brake....The RPR is loud with the brake on.......Very loud. Keep it, rebarrel.
