100% suspect this to be true. To me that video clearly shows those guys tracking the shooter through their scopes. You don't search for a human sized target at 130 yards through a scope, they were both on and didn't fire. And this tree shit, maybe obscured them, idk... but they obviously had LOS to take a shot after they got back on their guns. I think all shots until that 1 single shot at the very end were from the same shooter. 4 people total got shot by that guy, unlikely three shots hit 4 people but maybe. The muzzle report on all 8 or so shots sounds the same. The 1 at the end sounds a bit different. They all sounded suppressed to me.speculation or real? i guess we might find out later.

it is possible they saw the shooter but not the weapon, until the last moments. at some point, hopefully we will hear their story.

Being in DC, we had way more resources for a sitting President than a former POTUS would, to include multiple agencies and active military units to task with all the layers. I literally had access to the podium that Clinton spoke from mere hours later, along with the whole field of the inner perimeter, so I was looking outwards at all the vantage points that surrounded the field. I had been around various dignitaries and Clinton before.
I also met George W. Bush many years later just as someone waiting with my wife to get signatures of his book, and I noticed all the security he had. For an event away from DC, SS begins planning for that well in-advance by coordinating with the local LEOs, sending plainclothes agents to conduct area surveys and risk assessments using a Red Cell approach, and all State and local LEOs are sworn to secrecy.
State Troopers, regional Federal Agents, military, and local LEOs are used to augment the security posture of the venue. All routes, vantage points, escape routes, Medevac routes, air threats, and contingencies are planned for with layers using a PACE plan.
Those buildings that have vantage points or Final Firing Positions would have been identified way before the stage was even built, and plans put in place to secure them. Since the SS has been short-staffed for Trump’s detail, that would incline me to believe that this area was covered by local PD and/or State Troopers.
* The eye witnesses outside the perimeter who saw the shooter moving into position should not have been the first ones to see him. That is the part that people will find very troublesome to digest, though it could just be a symptom of reduced SS PPD, CAT, and PC SS agents having to rely more on locals.
I was able to pick out several of the SS PC agents at the Bush event, for example, which was nowhere near the attendance size of a Trump event, but the physical area was similar in size.
Short story is SS does not just show up the day prior and start setting up. Senior agents for the ADVON party arrive weeks or even months in-advance to conduct the site survey and make coordinations with the local security apparatus. This is pretty basic stuff for SS. They have to arrange for the vehicles to be flown-in, make airport coordinations for traffic restrictions and control, conduct a full Red Cell assessment of the motorcade route to and from the venue, primary and alternate routes to walk the principle from the Limo to the holding area out of view, how the overwatch personnel will communicate "all clear" to walk to the podium, comms scheme and procedures with the local LEOs that include all the Radio freqs and callsigns between SS, State, Local, and military pax, etc. It is not an easy job at all. SS has very high stress levels, low quality of life, no family life for the PPD and VIP details.
It's not just the actual assassination attempt that has got people pissed off, it's all the vitriol leading up to it; all the people demanding that Trump (and his supporters) be "removed", "eliminated", or outright assassinated. Did Secret Service visit Goldman after his above comments, or Biden after calling Trump multiple times a threat to our democracy, a threat to our nation, and that he needs to have bullseye just 6 days ago? Why does "Dark Branden" get a pass?
We know who the threat to this nation is, and it is within the walls of our own government and it's institutions. They know that we know that 2020 was an outright coup (not just presidency, but Georgia senate seat was huge in consequence), that J6 was a set-up, as were the pipe bombs, Vegas shooting, Maui fires, and numerous sabotages to food and energy distibuting centers. The force behind all of this has directly sh*t on our Constitution while our "elected" Congress gives them more money to do it.

It was a caliber larger than .22 lr. There is a video out there that sky news played where you can distinctly hear the crack of the bullet followed by the report. And the report is too loud to be a .22
Microphones have a way of evening out loud noises to where a .223 at 150m would easily sound like a .22. But those noises you hear on most footage are bullets going supersonic past the president. Most 22 lr is subsonic or transsonic at that range. It wouldn't have had that crack anymore.
The CS team we've seen videos and pictures of had their line of sight clearly blocked by a tree. Several versions of this have placed the CS team on the wrong roof and the shooter on the wrong side of the roof. See 3D renders below for accurate placement.
If the CS team we've all seen is the one that eliminated the shooter, they would have to had moved along the roof or fired through foliage. Either of which would be impressive given the timeline of their return fire. From the video showing them the minutes prior, it looks like they went from binoculars only, to a heightened state of alert, but likely still couldn't see the shooter.

That witness, along with the CS on the rooftops seeing someone prone with a rifle seven minutes before shots fired should have had Trump off the podium and covered immediately. We can not, and should not, accept any lame excuses for this.
Can’t confirm 100% of course. But not hearing any gunshot blast after the bullet cracks by is the only explanation I can come up with. Gun shot from Les than 150 yards away is very audible and distinctive. I’m sure everyone on here can agree with that.

There are a few videos out there with audio that you can clearly hear reports. Lots of extra noise going on at the time but I don't believe there was a suppressor involved other than the single shot at the end.
