With 6.5 Creedmoor fire form brass I have set my FL resizing die to bump the shoulder back .002 from that fire formed brass. I have some brass (30) prior to setting up the FL die correctly that has the shoulder bumped back from .006 to .008, is it safe to fire this brass with this much shoulder bump and hope the firing forming will bring the should back to within acceptable limits or should I trash it and move on? I have been using the Innovative Technologies shoulder gauge for measuring the shoulder bump which is a very worth while investment if anyone is looking for such a tool.
