Re: SHWW Group

just a reminder there is nothing out where we shoot no bathrooms no food, no water, so come prepared. We are roughly ten minute from town so plan accordingly. I to will be staying on site but I will be sleeping in my utility trailer no tent needed.

What is wrong with that...no wind, mid 30's...no gloves needed to shoot...don't need heavy boots, Sounds like damn near perfect conditions...

Have a great time!!

Re: SHWW Group

Hey guys, I am not sure yet so I am gauging interest in selling my 260 remington

the rifle is s rem 700 sa that was trued by pacnor when the installed the pacnor 1:8 stainless barrel. the rifle has 320 rounds through it. The rifle has a ken farrel 20 MOA base and is sitting in a bell and carslon full aluminum bedding block stock. The rifle consistantly shoots .5..75 MOA when I do nmy part and that is with 41.5 grains of rl17 and a hornady 140 grain amax

comes with about 300 pieces of remington brass , and a set of lee neck size only dies

I have not decided on a price yet but Im looking at around 1200
any interest

Re: SHWW Group

Have fun everyone, and those of you travelling do so safely.

I'm eagerly waiting to be "back in the game" early next year when I should finally have my rifle put back together (going to be AWESOME!).

Re: SHWW Group

Had a great day of shooting, the weather held good (cold & not much wind), rifle ran great - had my hits and good stage & some bad ones (only screwed one of Know Your Limits , and no suprise - hit a hostage)

Thanks to Scott and all the R.O.'s for putting on the match

Re: SHWW Group

Great day Group!

Man.... We are lucky to have guys like Scott & Jim & Carl & Jeff & soon ... Jesse! in our neck of the woods... Who are willing to do all of the heavy lifting, for the thankless job of letting a bunch of yay-hooos like us, show up, & try to smash the crap out of their jungle gyms!
laugh.gif

Scott, great match! I know first hand, how much thought you put into it, and how much you scutinize making it fun for everyone.... Mission accomplished. It's truly appreciated.

Jason.... Good to get a chance to know you a bit today.... Let me know if you ever want to hit Cascade.

Alan..................................................... DOT.

Re: SHWW Group

Thanks for putting on the match guys! Even though I totally bombed it and froze my butt off, I had such a great time. Here are some of the photos that I took. Sorry I don't have more of people in other squads. Thanks so much for everyone who made it happen, including the ROs who didn't even get to shoot!

Here's the rifle that JD @ High Speed Shooting Systems put together for me. I can't say enough nice things about him and his customer service/quality of the build. He built the rifle that won the last match. I'm a rookie and haven't put enough time into getting the mags tuned quite right, but this rifle shoots so great!

And the brake works!(BTW - you can barely see the seam between it and the barrel! Awesome machining!)

Re: SHWW Group

So I'm trying to decide on a finish for my action and barrel. Think a really intense purple with duracoat would be good? I'm about as far from concerned with it being "tactical" as possible.

I have been working on coming up with a rear bag that fits the needs of field shooting, after trying different designs and materials as well as modifying the plastic poly to act more like sand, I settled on a wedge shape.
I made up extras to share them with the group at a great price and I am going to put one on the prize table for this weekends match.
The tan and black material is 500 Denier Cordura, the tan camo is rip stop material and the green camo is a heavy cotton, all seams are double stitched with a heavy duty thread. They are about 7" tall with a 4" x 4" base, they will work great stacked on top of eachother when you need to be tall (like on top of the doghouse, just saying) or can be used as a wedge.
I am offering them for $20.00 each and will bring them to the match in Ellensburg this weekend.
If you are interested in a specific color, PM me and I will hold that one for you.
Thanks SScott

Craig bought me one of these as an early Christmas present and I couldn't be more thrilled. I am pumped to try it out soon!

Re: SHWW Group

Thanks very much to Scott for putting on this great match, also to the RO's who ran very safe stages. Big thanks to the sponsor for a wonderful prize table!

I had a great time with a bunch of super people and the weather, although a little chilly in the morning, cooperated for an all around great day.

Laurel, great photos! I vote for intense purple, very tacticool!

Re: SHWW Group

Thanks for putting on the great match and to everyone involved with making it happen. The R.O's we're fantastic and the C.O.F every bit as good.

Re: SHWW Group

Note to self...Just load the camper next time. Camping out in 9* temps, tho doable isn't comfortable any way you look at it. Woke up to heavy fog again this morning in the valley, but was clear up at the range. Got to do a little shooting with the 300WM, & also checked out a few solutions with the new DPMS. Happy to say all my dope for both was spot on.
Had a great time up there, & hope to see you all again with a good trigger in the DPMS so I can actually shoot.
Good pics. I didn't get to really see any of the other stages, so it's good to see what I was missing.
I was told that a bunch of you want me to do another BSC this spring before the Findly Cup. I will look into it again, tho I was more interested in doing one in Mazama for the crazy-er folks. I might be able to do both depending on the weather, & when the snow pack melts off up high.
As I understand it the FC will be the end of March. I'll look to do BSCIV in the 1st, or 2nd week of March as a primer for FC again. Stay tuned for more as I get it.
I hope everyone had a good time, & a safe trip home. Good shooting all.

Re: SHWW Group

Once again I would like to reiterate a huge thank you to Scott and Adam for their huge effort on putting this match on for us to participate in. To those who showed up Friday to help them set up, Jason and Matt another huge thank you. To all our RO's, Adam once again, Jeff (glad to hear you got some shooting in on Sunday), Matt and John, and of course Jim and Mark for making their stage entertaining to say the least. I would like to thank all the sponsors that contributed to the prize table, I saw Ron and Chris out there from Benchmark, Caylen Wojcik from Magpul (for those interested in a precison rifle course this is the man to see), Threeforks reloading in Cle Elum (great store guys and well worth a stop if you out that way), James Thomas from HSSS in Yakima and Sageflatsshooter in Jordan Montana, many thanks to all of you. To the folks, I had the priviledge to shoot with Saturday, Eric, welcome hope to see you again, BK as always entertaining, Caylen a pleasure to meet you, and of course the three Mikes,(yes Scott we had three Mikes in our group just to confuse the RO's) Mike L, as always a pleasure and I hope you got back to Blaine safely, Mike C. another immigrant like myself but a great shooter who took second in the match after the ever consistent Chad and Mike (Daps) who fortunately is still working for us in the service of our great nation, hope to see you back shooting with us when you return from your next overseas posting.

Re: SHWW Group

TeamSendIt, Scott
Thanks for a great day and a great match. As always I learned lots and can't wait for the next one! Thanks to all of the shooters in my flight/group, what a great bunch of people. Always encouraging and helping. It is so cool to see how competitive you all can be and yet so happy to help.
Massive Thanks! to all of the ROs it could not have been done without you. Thanks to the sponsors and Scott even with my dismal performance I walked away with something. Days like yesterday will keep me coming back every time, very very fun thank you all.

Re: SHWW Group

Well i didn't get home until 7pm last night, that was alot of steel to pack back into the truck. I would like to thank everyone for coming, you guys are such a good group of people to work with. It truly is what makes it worth it to continually put these on.

I would like to congratulate 2 of my fellow members of team send it Chad Mcknight and tyler hauan on there fine shooting performance taking home 1st and 3rd. Mike collinge also had some fine shooting taking home 2nd.

I was going to possibly do the next match the first weekend in march, but it appears jeff gay is going to put one on that weekend so i will reschedule according unless things change.

A big thanks goes out to all the fine men and women that took such great pictures. if its ok with you i would like permission to use them on our website we are developing for team send it.

Also I would really like it if you guys were willing to post pictures and some of your comments on the FSC 2011 thread so that this match can continue to grow. here is a link

Re: SHWW Group

Also i will post up the scores in there tonight when i get home they will be located in
