Re: SHWW Group

well, I haven't signed up so that's certainly one strike against me.

Second, since I'm laid off, I'm moving back to Spokane.

Third, my brother has volunteered to to help me that weekend moving and to bail on him on Sunday is just plain bad form. Funny as hell, but very bad form.

"Thanks for your help! Now out the door you go! By by!"

So if I do show up, I'm more likely to heckle than shoot.

Or, I could start a nasty little rumor that "Tribe says 'Team Send It can't shoot!' and that Tribe is going to wipe up the match using TSI as a dish rag! And Tribe also said that he's going to clean the match with 100% hits!"

laugh.gif

Jeez, and to think that I consider them both good friends! Hey, if I can't shoot in the match (I don't even have a drop chart & muzzle velocity for my rifle), at least I can heckle from the sidelines!

Of course you would have to remain at the shooting position and direct him with a radio, RIGHT??? LMAO

Re: SHWW Group

guys adam and I will be there setting up on saturday if anybody wants to come out and help/hang out.

I would like to see everybody at the location by 8 shooting will start at 9 and hopefully we will be done before well before dark. be prepared for a new long stage with alot!!! of movement it will involve unknown distance from multiple locations.

Re: SHWW Group

I'll be there sat. afternoon.
On another note. I just found out that some of my steel from BSCII was stolen some time during hunting season I think. They actually hiked 600 yds through a clear cut to pull the 12" X 12" X 1" thick plates off the logs, & carried them off. They even took the spikes that held them on too! I don't mind too much as those plates were too heavy for me to want to move anyway. But I would want anyone who wants to "donate" a few lighter plates to BSCIII to get in touch with me. The more steel I have the better things will be. Doesn't need to be especially hard stuff either. Just looking for some more "scrap" to hang up.

Re: SHWW Group

My Range, summer photo: 400 yards to steel on hill. I can also shoot from the kitchen window...as a couple of coyotes have found out this winter.

Looking back at house from base of hill just below steel...recently. 1K to south end of property. Steel stationary, shooting positions move from house to south

I try to keep a path mowed in the spring/summer or the grass and weeds get too tall. Send It thru the cut in the timber to the left of the smoke/trees.

Re: SHWW Group

guys, Spokane got hit with +12" of snow last night. I can't find a report on how much snow Ellensburg got Wednesday but all forecasts are for freezing temps. Dress warm and bring a shovel, you might have to dig yourself out. Best of luck for all!

Re: SHWW Group

Hey guys, anyone driving over the mountains Sunday morning??? If I could jump a ride from north bend that would be great, I will of course pitch in for gas. Thanks let me know.

Re: SHWW Group

I'm just hoping to make the shoot-and not have to stay here on freeze prevention. It's supposed to be -20 Friday nite here. I don't want to come back to frozen/broken pipes. Hoping to help with setup on Saturday as well. Sheeattt!

Re: SHWW Group

Hey guys. I have a TPAL listed in the classifieds. If anyone has any interest, I'll happily do a SHWW discount. Let me know if you guys would like to see it, and I'll bring it along on Sunday.

Jake,
I'm headed through NB on Saturday night. If you get desperate for a ride, I can drop you in Ellensberg at one of the Motels, if need be.

Re: SHWW Group

I'm gonna be driving a 'car' (Ahhh!), can one of you early (Saturday) travelers give me a heads-up on whether I'll be able to drive up the hill?

Better yet, would anyone with a 4x4 be willing to meet up with us 2-wheel drivers somewhere in order to get up the hill? You name the spot. Let me know

What a minute, that thing is a beast. If any of your guys with trucks need me to tow you up the hill just give me a shout.

Re: SHWW Group

Looks like a good group. I'm in Kent, have not had alot of time to find the good spots yet. Any local recommendations? I heard about a little public range in Greenwater. Anyone ever been there?

Thanks,
OW

Re: SHWW Group

note to anybody coming over tomorrow and camping, i am not bringing firewood this time so if you want a fire during the day or at night you will have to bring your own. also be prepared to lay in the snow possibly again because there will probably be some there.

Re: SHWW Group

Still really want to come out and meet everyone, but I'm a bit worried about the weather.

Anyone out that way already? Any intel on the snow situation and such? I don't have a 4WD and this Texas boy doesn't have a lot of experience with the white stuff.
