These are extremely accurate rifles. I seen a guy bring one to the 1000yd range in Colorado chambered in .338 Lapua and do some incredible shooting. It is safe to say at the very least that they are 1/2 moa rifles. I am sure some others will chime in on the accuracy of these rifles.

Friend of mine had one in 338 Lapua, it shot around 1-1.5 MOA with 5 different types of factory ammo. He shot his other 338's much better, and Sig (US importer for the Tactical 2's, BlaserUSA handles all the other Blasers) told him that the guarantee was MOA so there was nothing they could do. Ended up selling it to Cabela's for a significant loss.

They are unique and certainly, their physical appearance and features have a draw for some people. Personally, having shot a .308 version, I just didn't care for the rifle. The straight bolt takes some getting used to for someone whose muscle memory on bolt guns doesn't want to work a bolt in that manner, parts/accessories/service can be a real pain in the arse as this is not really a platform supported by the aftermarket like many others, and the accuracy, as others have observed, was not what I would expect for a $4k bolt action rifle. In my observation/experience, the rifle I got to shoot was hovered around MOA (some groups were slightly under and over) out to 600 yards (the furthest range available to the owner/me on the day in question). That was with a variety of commercial match ammo (FGMM, BH, Remington Premier, and Corbon). Again, not terrible...but not what I expected from a rifle advertised and built up to be one of the "most advanced precision rifle" available with "exceptional accuracy."

I have had a couple of these rifles. I have had it in .308, .300wm, and 338lm. I have shot the .308 the most ( between 2k-3k rounds). The stock does take a little getting used to, once setup I found it to be very comfortable. I have shot it with and without the brake in .308. It uses the same brake as the Sako trg's. In .308 the recoil without it was very light. With it the recoil was similar to a .223. As for accuracy my experience is that the rifle is as good as the shooter. At first I shot a lot of HSM 168 and the rifle was very consistent avg .3-.4. As I became a better shooter the rifle followed, Federal GMM 168 was .2-.3. These groups are measured center to center. When I started reloading, I measured the chamber and would seat the bullet a little longer. I chrono'd and matched the federal load, which shot about 30fps slower than Federals specs out of this rifle. The first group I shot with the hand loads was .128. I am not good enough to shoot that all the time but the rifle is below .25 inch with these hand loads. This rifle has a few unique features, the barrel is croy'd and vapor deprivated. The steel is very hard, the barrels are hammer forged and the rifling and chamber are hammered not cut. I originally sighted my rifle in when it was 34 degrees F outside. I never experienced any cold bore shift or temp shift in poa. The straight pull bolt is very fast and did not take long to get used to. I wish the mags held 10 rounds instead of 5 in .308. They are pricy at $200 each (retail) the rail is odd at 12.5 moa on the .308 and .300wm, the .338 has a 40 moa rail. The very quick caliber change is very nice and one of the main reasons to purchase the Blaser. The bolt is self centering and self head spacing, which I think is one of the main reasons it is so accurate. I have shot many groups less than .5 inch not moa at 200 yards. It is easy to shoot well and consistently. All of my shooting is from a bipod whether on a bench or prone. I do not profess to be a great shooter, and the reason to post was not to brag. I just wanted to share my experience with this rifle, I know there are not a lot of people who own this and it can be hard to find info. I hope this helps and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

I have one and love it. The straight pull bolt is fast like really really fast.
Is it sub half moa? Mabey if you find the right load for your gun.
Is it sub moa yes with out a doubt.
I've run it out to 1200 in .308 and stayed on 16" steel gongs.
I have barrels in .338 .300 and .308. The barrel change is fast it puts the others I've seen to shame. It's only 2 bolts.
The scope mounts to the barrel which is good if you have multiple scopes ( don't have to rezero) bad if you only have one.
If you want guaranteed 3/8 moa accuracy get a G. A. Precision or other custom gun
I'm not aware of any factory gun that guarantees half moa.
If you want a very versatile rifle with quick change barrels you would be hard pressed to find a better gun for the money.

I have 2 of the tactical little brother the LRS2 in .308 and .300WM and looking for tactical 2 .338lM
I have to admit it took me a bit of time to find the load for the .300WM but now I am always inside 1/2 MOA, now it became boring so I bought the .308 to start a new load and didn't find it yet, I will push some palma on the week end and see what happens ?

But, where can you find one? I have had one on back order for 7 months now.

Ive had mine for a couple of years now in .338 lapua and never had a problem shooting shotgun clays at 500m. IMHO they are an excellent rifle with lots of potential. I have found the Hornady 250gr BTHP Match to be the most accurate factory load through my gun, however my hand loads are always around 1/2 MOA or better.
