I went through an SS dealer. We did it all via the eforms site. Full auto is just what SS uses to prepare the paperwork and send to you to sign via docusign Once that’s done it’s all eforms at that point.I've had one sitting nearly a month because the SS software won't submit properly. I didn't know SS dealers aren't directly using the ATF website but instead go through software called "FullAuto". My suppressor is trapped with no way to get it moving into the ATF system because FullAuto always returns errors.

the fact the some dealers are having issues and some aren’t tells me that some dealers maybe don’t know exactly what they are doing. The only bitch is the fact that it takes two weeks between when you buy the silencer and when you certify. I should certify immediately. There should be no delay. That delay is full auto. SS needs to fix their internal process no doubtI've been pestering silencer shop support and they told me the dealer submission issues are something the full auto team needs to fix![]()

Same story here. I'm done with those fucks, this ffl and SS after these. The worst part is they're pretty much held hostage at this point. I could form 3 them, but whoever gets them would charge me, and I don't think the place they're at now could do a fucking form 3 at this point either.silencer shop sucks donkey crap…. between them pointing finger at dealer and dealer them, 3 months just sitting there. dealers blaming SS and ATF and no movement
Your stressing yourself out unnecessarily. You’re right about being guinea pigs. That hasn’t crossed my mind before now. I was a little frustrated with my dealer, but everyone is still learning.
What should I be looking out for in particular when I certify? I got the ready to certify email an hour or so ago. Just double checking that everything matches the one that I docusigned? I read something about making sure the serial number does include dashes and that I am citizen? I’ve researched for hours and I have more questions than when I started.
You’re absolutely right. I was worrying about nothing. My dealer told me that they had issues when trying to do it remotely. It would kick out on party if it was done remotely. That’s why I certified in person even though I was a trust.Your stressing yourself out unnecessarily.
Here's the proper procedure if you bought from SS.
1. Log onto SS using your account.
2. Buy your suppressor and tax stamp
3. Make sure in your SS account under your dashboard that your profile is 100% complete ( this includes you questions, photo, fingerprints etc..)
4. Make sure you have created and edited account and they emails have to match.
5. SS will send you a Docusign. Verify its correct (99% it will be). Sign it.
6. A few weeks later your dealer will get it and then set you up in their system ready to certify.
7. You'll get the ready to certify email.
Call the dealer. They should be able to do it over the phone regardless of trust or individual in reality.
8. They will ask you to log into your SS dashboard and then join the session they create. Once you join, you'll enter the eforms page automatically. Enter your login and pin. Once that is done, they will enter their dealer pin. It will complete itself automatically and then later( maybe 30 min) you will get and email from eforms saying your forms have been submitted and in progress.
Thats it in a nutshell. I have 3 in progress now. One in progress on 2/1 so ill know here in a month if it's close to 90 days..
I dont have instagram or anything of that type of so I get my info from this thread on wait times haha. I hope yours comes up soon as well, keep us posted please! There have been numerous posted on Instagram and reddit in the 40-70+ day range.
I'm on day 64, hoping I get mine soon.
I grabbed one on 3/7. Certified Monday. 2 weeks like my previous 2.You’re absolutely right. I was worrying about nothing. My dealer told me that they had issues when trying to do it remotely. It would kick out on party if it was done remotely. That’s why I certified in person even though I was a trust.
I know it took a few weeks to certify when the e forms first launched. Out of curiosity, have you done one recently? I bought mine on a Tuesday, docusigned Wednesday, and was ready to certify Friday. I’ve seen where some people have certified the next day after buying a suppressor.
The process is really as simple as you outlined. I feel like more people would buy silencers if they knew how simple the process is with SS.
day 56. let's hopeI have read about quite a few being approved all in the 65-75 day range.
Day 51 here.. fingers crossed
My dealer gave me a somewhat similar story, granted his issues have been corrected and I got both suppressors certified today. Anyways though, he said he was difficulties getting setup for Eforms and SilencerShop wasn’t helping him. It only got corrected apparently after he threatened to ship every silencer from SilencerShop back to them.Myself and some others have our cans stuck in limbo due to a glitch during the last upgrade. Dealer hasn't been able to get ahold of anyone over the phone for 3 weeks. A few weeks ago on live chat I was told someone from the SS Full Auto software department would look into the issue, but nothing has changed. My dealer just hopped on live chat and was given the same message, "someone will look into the issue."
If it doesn't move along in the next few days I'm done with silencershop and transferring my can elsewhere, asking for a refund or doing a chargeback. I feel bad for my dealer who is stuck dealing with poor support and frustrated customers.
@Silencer Shop what's going on with the lack of support for so long?
How is it SS fault that the dealer couldn't figure out how to set up an eform account? My dealer gave me a somewhat similar story, granted his issues have been corrected and I got both suppressors certified today. I would imagine it has to do with the new “full auto” system that SilencerShop has introduced. But not really my place to explain as I am not the dealer or SilencerShop. Just passing on what I heard to see if it helps anybody. How is it SS fault that the dealer couldn't figure out how to set up an eform account?
I certified 4 weeks ago. Is it just a matter now of waiting until its approved or will i get any email updates between now and then?
From when you submitted it and you got the actual stamp in 67 days? Not a trust I guess?Mine was 67 days
If it’s been 4 whole weeks then something is definitely wrong. Also, you’ve probably been put onto a no-fly list, so prepare to be “detained” at a TSA checkpoint the next time you fly.I certified 4 weeks ago. You will get NO updates, the next email you will get will be the status changed/approved. I’ve had two customers come back already, one at 63 days and one at 75.I certified 4 weeks ago. Is it just a matter now of waiting until its approved or will i get any email updates between now and then?
Trust or individual?Jan 8 E file for 2 cans, approved today. Less than 90 days. HOLY SHIT

I second that question
Cool, mine only has me. Also FYI- for anyone wondering...The times for individual will be less, but not by a lot, and it's going to depend on how many responsible persons they are running through on the trust side.

You should retain a good lawyer now, while you still can.
First time on the Internet?Just a simple question from first time purchase. No need to try and be funny.
Thanks
Sure.First time on the Internet?(Emoji just to be sure)
So I've gone through the whole process through a local dealer and Silencer Shop to the point it was submitted to the ATF. My question is should my submitted E Form 4 be on my my E Form account?
Your dealer will probably get a denial letter and you will receive a refund.Me just being paranoid, but...if there was an issue with my form 4, say fingerprints didn't scan properly, photo not taken properly, etc., would ATF notify me via my online account? Or would they only notify SS and/or my dealer?
Call the SOT. You need an iPad or pc. They will walk you through it or u can certify in personJust received an EM from silencershop “ready to certify””.
I read the instructions, have my eforms account name and PIN.
Not sure if I can use the silencershop app on my phone @ the FFL to do the procedure, or do I need a PC w/ web browser?

Didn’t work for me at all on the iPhone. Dealer even tried selecting the text boxes for me to type in and it still didn’t work, I had to fire up the laptop.Turn your phone sideways. I did on my iPhone.
You might need to request the desktop site if using your phone. I did it on the iPad with no issue.Didn’t work for me at all on the iPhone. Dealer even tried selecting the text boxes for me to type in and it still didn’t work, I had to fire up the laptop.
